The Beatles & Indian Culture.

The world today, as we are very well aware, is fighting many wars, violent and silent alike, leading to much suffering among people. However, all hope is not lost. Several people, institutions and organizations are striving continuously to bring some respite to this unrest. In this modern world, leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln, to name a few, have showed us the dream to contribute to wipe every tear from every eye. Their thoughts, actions and wisdom had no boundaries and no barriers can contain them or their efforts towards bringing about humanity and peace to this grief-stricken world.
Parliament Square is the place where the statues of these great personalities are situated. Its my great pleasure to be here at London Parliament Square.
The Beatles, world’s most popular rock band in history of music. The “Beatles” known for promoted meditation & Yoga in entire the world. NASA beams Beatles’ “Across the universe” into the deep space in which Beatles used the chanting of “OM”. This picture shows the influence of Indian philosophy & culture on world in each field it may be art & music or science & technology.
On the contrary, it is the most universal syllable because it neither refers to any particular religion nor God. There have been several theories behind the OM mantra with the most popular explanation being that it was the cosmic sound which initiated the creation of universe (big bang theory). But that alone would not have been sufficient to turn it into a regular practice in Indian culture.

London....."Exhibition & Demonstration"-2

Art reflects Society reflects Art....
Art and politics as arenas of human endeavor display various familiar intersections. A political ideology is not merely a series of assertions; it is a multi-media aesthetic surround. Now the texts themselves have to be viewed aesthetically as well as semantically, and the power of the Vedas as Code of Conduct (aachar samhita) is not only what it declares, but the poetry by which it declares what it declares.

Painting is an art: and art is not vague production, transitory and isolated, but a power which must be directed to the development and refinement of the human soul, to raising the triangle of the spirit. The artist must have something to communicate, since mastery over form is not the end but, instead, the adapting of form to internal significance. --(Wassily Kandinsky).

My work appreciated by Society. These things encourage & inspire me always.

  •         For first time in history, Indian Prime Minister’s ideology will be showcased before the global audience in this manner.
Art & Style:

  • ·         Paintings are very powerful medium to put a thought in front of world.
  •          Making replica is not creativity. Creativity is something about feelings which should be new every time.
  •          Through painting, I want to show the new aspects of India & Indian culture, for that , there is no need to do portraits & landscapes. India is more than portraits & landscapes.
  •          Society reflects in Art. In my art my India reflects.
  •          The unique style of an artist makes him solitary in characteristics.
  •          Uniqueness of my paintings are in boldness of lines, confidence & powerfulness in stocks, simplification of subject.
  •          The responsibility of an artist to show beauty of society at the same time ugliness also. Like Picasso’s Guernica or Hussain’s Bharatmata.
Childhood & collage days:
  •          From early ages of my childhood, I connected with Art. I observed, Horse races at Mahalaxmi Race-course, cricket matches at wankhede stadium. These are experiences which impact a lot on my artistic mind. These observations reflects in powerful stocks in my painting. In childhood, I used paint on huge canvases.
  •          In collage days,I inspired by thoughts & work done by Mr. Sharad Pawar. He was my very first inspiration & I created a painting on Mr. Sharad Pawar’s personality which will exhibit in London.
  •          With his inspiration in collage days, being a part of student movements, I meet with the people of from every class of society, I saw their life, differences in society, growth of every part from agriculture to art, from economy to environment from spirituality to science, from politics to philosophy. And automatically my paintings become more & more closer to society.Art should co-relate itself with society.
     ·         My art is not to decorate apartments. I do not wish to restrict my art to commercial purposes, but intend to make it instrument to contribute Indian culture & society.
