Empowerment of society.

Women...the most marginalised community in the world. Crime against woman happens everywhere: it happens inside homes, in families, in neighbourhoods, in police stations, in towns and cities, in villages, and its incidence increases, as is happening in India, as society goes through change, as women’s roles begin to change, as economies slow down and the slice of the pie becomes smaller — and it is connected to all these things. Just as it is integrally and fundamentally connected to the disregard, and indeed the hatred, for females that is so evident in the killing of female foetuses. For so widespread a crime, band aid solutions are not the answer.

Men can stop violence against women.

All men have the capacity and desire to play a positive role in creating communities free from violence. Men must join with women as allies in creating an equitable and just world for all genders in order to end men's violence against women.Only one person makes the choice to rape. There are things we can (and should!) do to protect ourselves, but the only person who can prevent rape is the rapist himself.

With the help of my paintings I also try to encourage victims of rape, who have lost hope, with a view to garner support for them in society, particularly due to the stigma attached to such victims, especially in a country like India.

Back again...

To write something is more difficult than...to draw or paint something. If the feelings are express by lines, colour than who needs words.

For me its great honour of my art & my painting. Some called him God of Cricket, some called him Mater Blaster. But for me he is the King of Millennium.
